About the Artist

Ritesh Bagai, 'An Indian Miniaturist' is a 26-year-old artist from New Delhi, India who makes exquisite paintings that are as small as a coin. Within these minuscule wonders, he manages to pack in as many details as possible. With over 300 miniature paintings of daily objects and series of different places, Bagai says, "I do what I love and I love what I do, something that is unique. People do not see enough of these modern miniatures anymore". His mother, Tanu Bagai is a commercial artist, who specializes in Cartoons and Typography, so it was in his genes. Bagai started painting since his childhood and later he started focusing on these in 2015, around the same time he joined College of Art, Delhi under Bachelors of Fine Art program, specializing in Applied Art. Currently, he is pursuing his Masters in Graphic Design from Coventry University, United Kingdom.
